About the role
Our Project Managers are a key part of our project delivery team, managing and delivering PlotBox to our customers. Project Management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. Project Managers oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarise progress of projects. In addition they must report on the status of projects to the senior delivery and management teams.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to work and manage multiple projects across our global client base and you will report directly to our Head of Delivery.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (maternity cover) however, in line with business needs and our plans for growth, there is a chance that the contract may be extended or made permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Understand the scope, operational requirements and impacts across all functional teams
- Work with the team leads to plan and coordinate internal resources, client and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, also to share with clients and other staff members
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Establish and maintain good relationships with the client and all stakeholders
- Recognise and manage project risks and manage risk mitigation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage project financial status and forecast on regular basis
- Actively work with the team to manage the detailed breakdown of project activities for efficient project task management
- Prepare formal project status reports, periodic scheduled updates and holds regular meetings with the customer
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs as required
- Ensure project execution best practices implemented
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Flexible to support client meetings in different timezone
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & proficiencies:
- Demonstrable Project Management skills gained through work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders at all levels to ensure professionalism in all your dealings customers and colleagues
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to develop and track budgets and other financial information
- Coaching skills
- A desire to continually suggest and implement process improvements
- Excellent planning skills and ability to keep track of all aspects of the project delivery
- Influencing skills balanced with the ability to gain trust from customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to ensure all requirements of the role are met
Required Experience:
- At least two years Project Management experience in IT project delivery
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or working knowledge of Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc…)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as IT, Business or Project Management
Desirable:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience of remote project delivery across global locations
- Experience of large scale SAAS project delivery
- Experience using Project Management software tools (Asana, Instagantt would be an advantage)
