PlotBox is seeking to hire a talented and passionate full time Senior Software Developer who is ready to step up and help enhance the PlotBox product. Working on the Development team, you will have a varied job, delivering product enhancements in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be given responsibility to design and deliver core modules and features of the system.
What the role involves:
Using a modern technology stack you will be helping to build the PlotBox Platform, an industry leading solution, which includes Web, Mobile and Native applications. You will work closely with our customers as part of an autonomous, cross-functional team, doing what you do best; delivering software that delights the customer.
Responsibilities:
As a full time Senior Software Developer, you’ll:
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions and evaluating needs.
- Write well-designed, testable code to meet requirements.
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Document and maintain software functionality.
- Troubleshoot, test diagnose errors and debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Ensure software is updated with latest features.
What we’re looking for:
Essential Experience
- 2 years experience in a Software Development role.
- Relevant degree qualification essential.
- Experience designing, building and testing modern web or mobile applications.
- Experience building, maintaining and consuming APIs.
- Experience of debugging and working with live/production environments.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of deploying and managing web applications on cloud platforms
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
- Experience of working in deathcare/deathtech or cemetery management software
