Remote position based ideally in either Massachusetts or Florida; we will also consider applicants located in Texas, Missouri or Illinois. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Reporting to the VP Sales N America, the Solutions Consultant will be responsible for:
 

  • Managing a pipeline of prospects to deliver your quota with an unequivocal ‘team sales’ ethos.
  • Qualification of prospects and needs analysis/discovery.
  • Identify and consult with the entire decision-making unit to develop a holistic understanding of the business's needs.
  • Facilitating and delivering online (or in person where appropriate) product demonstrations encompassing both technical and non-technical aspects of the product offer
  • Collect complex information from prospects to fully understand their business situation to generate a compelling proposal that delivers a tailored scope, timing, and cost to meet needs.
  • Carry out contract negotiations and preparation of all associated documentation to close sales.
  • Collaborate with BDR(s) serving your territory/segment for top of funnel. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete prospect records, and activity and pipeline reports within the CRM.
  • Strict adherence to the sales process
  • Attendance of key trade shows in conjunction with the BDR team

  • 3+ years' successful deathcare sales or B2B SaaS/technology sales

  • You have an empathetic and trustful mindset, a genuine interest in other’s needs, you are candid and transparent.

  • High emotional quotient, grit and resilience. 
  • Organized and disciplined with processes, admin and small but important details.
  • Consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to travel throughout N America to attend conferences and prospect meetings.
  • Driver’s licence.
  • Based in either Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, Missouri or Illinois and willing to work EST hours. 

 

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience of selling with:
    • Typical sales cycles of ~6-9 months
    • Typical bookings of $50k-$250k
  • Recent working knowledge of HubSpot
  • Experience in implementing Challenger Sale Solution Selling Methodology or SPIN Selling
  • Although this is a remote role, ideally you will be easily able to commute (when required) to the PlotBox office in Boston.
